FUEL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary:

The Fuel Systems Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a crew, managing job sites, keeping inventory of materials used on job sites, monitoring sub-contractors, and conducting fuel system installations and repairs. You will get to travel all over learning a niche industry, including work on military bases. Work in a fast-paced environment and do something different every day.

  • $60 daily per diem for travel
  • Hotels covered for overnight stay
  • Sign on bonus for all new hires
  • Additional sign on bonus available for licensed UST installer
  • Overtime opportunities available as needed
 
This position is based out of Richmond, VA.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform recurring maintenance and repairs to petroleum distribution systems
  • Supervise and coordinate crews on-site
  • Interpret and work from blueprints for project execution
  • Operates various power tools, hand tools, skid loader, excavator
  • Manage job site paperwork and documentation
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures
  • Understanding and follow purchasing procedures and policies
  • Travel 95% to job sites out of town, typically returning home on weekends
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven strong work history with demonstrated reliability
  • Ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. continuously
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask/prioritize work

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED education is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with fuel systems, construction safety, HVAC, or pipefitting.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required
  • Government Security Clearance Required
  • Basic computer skills Word/Excel
