Job Summary:
The Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician is responsible for install and repair of fuel tanks and dispensing systems. Due to the projects this position will be working on, the employee is required to be a U.S. Citizen. You will get to travel all over learning a niche industry, including work on military bases. Work in a fast-paced environment and do something different every day.
- $60 daily per diem for travel
- Hotels covered for overnight stay
- Sign on bonus for all new hires
- Additional sign on bonus available for licensed UST installer
- Overtime opportunities available as needed
This position is based out of Richmond, VA.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform recurring maintenance and repairs to petroleum distribution systems
- Effective communication with subcontractors, project managers and construction managers
- Operate various power tools and hand tools
- Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations regarding petroleum storage
- Travel 95% to job sites out of town (home weekends)
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Skills/Abilities:

- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. continuously
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask/prioritize work.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED education is preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with fuel systems, construction safety, HVAC, or pipefitting.
- A valid Driver’s License is required
- Government Security Clearance Required
- Basic computer skills Word/Excel
