The Acterra Group is a complete distributor, installer, and constructor of petroleum equipment systems.  We sell, distribute, and install all major lines of petroleum & oil related equipment.

Our Corporate offices are located in Marion, Iowa.  We also maintain offices in Des Moines and Waterloo, Iowa along with Kieler, Wisconsin and Batavia, Illinois.  With over 50 years in the industry, Acterra has evolved from a gas station equipment and service enterprise to a multi-faceted organization geared toward liquid storage, piping, pumping and metering systems. With Acterra's sales, service and installation capabilities, the Company still has its foundation in the petroleum industry, but has diversified into major installations for industry, manufacturing, healthcare, fleet and governmental applications.

Services include maintenance, equipment sales, and turn-key construction for:

 

  • Fleet Fueling Systems - complete installation services for fuel management systems using both underground tanks and aboveground tanks

  • Bulk Plant Construction - design/build construction of complete bulk fuel and chemical facilities

  • Convenience Store Construction - turnkey development of convenience stores including underground tank systems, canopies, dispensers, POS systems, and general construction

  • Backup Fuel Systems - construction of generators and fuel oil systems for emergency power

  • Aviation Fueling Systems - turn-key aviation fueling systems including cabinets, underground tanks and aboveground tanks.

  • Alternative Fuels - storage and dispensing systems for biofuels, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and electric vehicles (EV)
